This project originated thanks to the enthusiasm and energy of the students from 6th Seniors. Having read about ‘golden ages throughout history’, we decided to go further: students picked their favourite period, event or movement in history and after some debate, three groups were formed, with three different topics.
The chosen topics were World War II, Cold War and Hippism. The following steps to take consisted of doing research and debating on the information. Finally, each group made a poster and on September 30th they were able to show what they had done and learnt by giving an oral presentation. The results were remarkable!
To conclude with the project, students had to write a reflection upon what they had investigated, including their feelings, thoughts and questions.
